What we offer

We are experienced hearing care professionals dedicated to delivering accurate hearing tests tailored to your child’s needs. Our registered audiologists use advanced diagnostic equipment and age appropriate testing methods to assess hearing thoroughly. Whether your child has been referred by a GP or ENT specialist, or you have concerns that have been raised at home or school, we take time to understand the history and recommend the most appropriate tests to build a complete picture of their hearing health.

Pure Tone Audiometry

Pure tone audiometry is a key hearing test used to determine the quietest sounds a child can hear across a range of frequencies. During the test, your child will wear headphones and be asked to respond to a series of tones played at different pitches and volumes, often using a simple task such as pressing a button. This helps our audiologists identify the degree and type of any hearing loss that may be present. It is a quick, non-invasive test that provides valuable insight into hearing sensitivity and forms the basis for any further recommendations or treatment.

Tympanometry

Tympanometry is a quick test used to assess the health and function of the middle ear. It works by gently varying air pressure in the ear canal while measuring how your eardrum responds. This helps our audiologists detect issues such as fluid behind the eardrum, eustachian tube dysfunction, or problems with the middle ear bones. Tympanometry is especially useful in identifying the cause of hearing loss and helps inform the most appropriate course of treatment.
